Sandra Boss is a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Investment Stewardship for BlackRock.  She is also a member of BlackRock’s Global Executive Committee.

Sandy is responsible for leading BlackRock Investment Stewardship in all its activities as it engages with companies to promote effective governance and create value for clients.  She is a former Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company focused on financial institutions, capital markets, and risk management in Europe and the United States.

She served at the Bank of England as an external member of the Prudential Risk Committee and the senior independent member and risk committee chair of the Board that oversees the system used to make high-value payments and implement monetary policy.  Sandy also has served as non-executive director at two public companies: Elementis Global and Enstar Group.
