Sarah McFarlane joined Thomson Reuters as Chief Energy Transition Correspondent in January to focus on the momentous shift to a lower carbon economy across the global commodities and energy sector. Sarah joined Reuters after nearly six years at The Wall Street Journal, where she held senior reporting roles on markets and corporate energy, most recently covering European oil majors including Shell and BP. Sarah co-wrote a podcast series for WSJ on the future of energy which was released last year. She previously reported on agriculture. Sarah has completed reporting assignments in the U.K., the U.S., Egypt, the Ivory Coast, and the Arctic.
